Our Bike Ride

Last Saturday we went on this Awesome Bike Ride with our Friends

Skip and Kay

We started in Plummer Idaho on the Trail of the Couer d Alene's

rode down to Chatcolet lake and crossed the bridge over Couer d Alene Lake

then we rode to Harrison Idaho, it was so beautiful there were wild snap dragons

a pond with Lilly pads in bloom, some sweet cherry trees to eat from

The first 4.5 miles we were in a forest and then down to the lake

the rest of the ride was along the lake all the way

We had lunch and Ice Cream in Harrison

Then rode back along the lake and back over the bridge

The bridge was a challenge, it was the last leg of 24 miles of riding

Since it is long and high they stair stepped the bridge to make it easier to get up

It was still hard for me !

We are happy to see our newest Granddaughter has arrived safely

She is beautiful and Vaya and Mommy Kristin are doing Great

Vincent who is 6 can hardly wait to take her home tomorrow

Big Sister Valencia is already to help Mom with this new baby

This makes combined Grand Baby #24 and they are all so special

We are very excited for this new addition

Our Garden

When we moved into this house last year there was a garden area in the

back yard, but it seemed to be mostly flowers or weeds in it, so we decided to

just let it go this Spring and see what would come up. Happily we have

some beautiful flowers

We tried to dig in the garden to plant vegetables and didn't have much luck

The roots from the neighbors trees were everywhere

So Gary built us a raised garden bed for our vegetables!

It is great easy to work with and the plants are loving it, and of course they

are loving the sunshine when we get some! This has been a wet and

long Spring, we are really ready for Summer

Memorial Day 2010

Well here is everybody out camping for the WET Memorial Day Weekend

This is the Hardy Group the TENT Campers!!

They really hung in there.

We all arrived on Friday and set up camp by night it poured down rain

All of Clint Burgess's Family that had driven 17 hours to get here said forget

this and headed out. But the kids all stayed and we had a great time in spite of the weather

Mark and Aimee came from Vancouver WA, Marks parents came down from Tonasket WA

all of us had Motor homes or 5th wheel and a sleeping cabin, to stay in so we were not bothered by the weatheras much as the Kids in Tents

We still had fun and memories
