Family Trip to Greenbluff

We took a family trip up to Greenbluff

when Amiee( Gary's oldest daughter) and Tristin and Lakai

( Aimee's daughter and our Great Grandson) came to town.

We had a great time, the kids got to have thier faces painted

we picked out pumkins, and Kristin took lots of great pictures!

We love that Kristin is so talented and willing to do pictures for us

September 21st we celebrated our

14Th Wedding Anniversary

these are the beautiful flowers Gary sent me

I loved them so much so I took this picture of them

to share with everyone

The New House

Well for those of you that don't know we moved to a new house in August

We wanted a house that was a single level to make life easier as we get older

The new house was in good shape but needed a little help

We tore out the tile on the fireplace and replace it with slate tile

We tore out all the old carpet and put down new sub floor and new wood

flooring in the living room kitchen and hallway

We put new carpet in both bedrooms and painted the walls

Had air conditioning installed

Now we are ready for Fall and Winter

There is always something to do at any house but we have all the BIG Stuff done

Gary says no more projects for a while, it is time to enjoy the house

After a very long and hard deliver Rebecca gave birth to a baby boy!

He looks just like his Daddy and is cute as a bug

We are very happy to have this new little boy in our family

This is a take off from Oprah's

Big Give

I work for Call Realty and our bosses

wanted to do something for the community

After trying to come up with an idea our boss

decided to give each of us $250.00.

Our job now was to put it to work in the community.

One person gave to the food bank

other ideas were a charity sports event

and to a children's charity

I heard that Spokane Valley Partners

needed clothing for teenage boys and girls

to wear to job interviews.

They were also looking for newborn clothing

Our ward at Church was also putting together

kits for mothers of newborns that can't afford all these items.

So shopping is something I know !

Having worked retail all those years I knew I could do this.

My daughter Kim is a manager at Kohl's department store

with her help I was able to gather up

10 Baby Outfits

6 Bibs

6Pairs of Booties

1 Dress

2 Sweaters

2 Skirts

12 Men's Dress Shirts

4 Men's Ties

9 Pair of Men's Dress Slacks

Our total savings was over $1300.00

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

Kristin thank you for putting together a fun weekend

We all traveled to Farrgot State Park for a fun time

The Burgess family all came from Utah

The Waters family came from Vancouver Washington

Most of the rest of us came from Spokane area

We shared our campsite with Becca and Steve and Steve's

sister Sarah and brother Jared, and the Hanley Family

Ben and Lucy, Tylor and Kodi were way at the other end of

the road and everyone else was in the middle.

It was a great time ! Weather was perfect !!
