This was a trip to see my Family, we have had to wait a long time
but finally made it. I think the things I learned along the way on this
trip was that no matter what each of our circumstances are in life the
thread that holds each of us together is the LOVE that we each share for
one another. Thank you all for the time you shared with us.
Thanks to my husband that drove the whole 1700 + miles of this trip
Your the Best
We drove down highway 97 and this is Mount Shasta
just as we came into California
Sweet beautiful Martha
All of the O'Connor's bought a new home
a few years ago and this was our first time to see it.
So glad they can all be together here
This is the front of the new house
This is one of Joe's turtles
Back yard with all the flowers and the Texaco horse Dad bought
Martha had it restored
After we left Martha's we were on to Tehama California
to see Darren and Pamelia
This is the front of the house looking out at the
Sacramento River
Here is the guest house
All the flowers were starting to bloom so I had
to take some pictures
This was a Black Butter fly
they were all over, but I had a hard time getting
one to stay still long enough to take a picture
Looking across the river
There are a few Cranes that hang out on the other side
of the river and fish there, this was the gray one
The view from the guest house
Got everyone up early the day we were leaving
for pictures
Darren and I, my Little Brother
Gary and Pamelia
Darren, me, and Gary
Two of my favorite people
Sunrise on the Sacramento River
Headed to Lincoln Beach Oregon to see Rick!
Wow it had been 18 years since we had seen each other
But he is still the same Rick!
Rick and Marsha
This was our first time to meet Marsha
great to get to know her
Salishan Resort
What a beautiful place
now we know how the rich live
room had a nice fireplace and what a view
This is looking out the window at the Golf course
I should have turned the light off, you can see the
reflection
OK so this is why people go to the Oregon Coast and never leave
that is what happened to Rick
Rick was our tour guide and so glad because we would never
known where to see all of this in just a few hours
This is one of the old bridges on Highway 101
Looking back toward Depoe Bay
One of the blow holes were the water spouts up
Beautiful Beaches
Stopped to see the Light House
Had to get one more beach shot
Rick and Gary with Newport Oregon in background
Downtown Newport Oregon
The fishing boats
Fishing Fleet
Off to Mark and Aimee's before we headed for home
Aimee said we saved the best for last
We had a great visit, went to our first NBA game
Mark made us Blackened Chicken for dinner ( inside chuckle)
And we got to see there new house
What a beautiful home, so warm and inviting
Aimee has it decorated so pretty
Can't say enough about it, just Stunning
It was raining, surprise, so didn't get the best pictures
Back yard
That's all Folks the end of a great trip
